Came here at 9am and there were already customers there and people were constantly coming in. There is some outdoor seating but it's neatly packed in boxes perfect for taking the bagels to go.

I ordered two bagels, one savory and one sweet. Savory was the bagel of the week: Breath on the neck. Included cream cheese, tomato, avocado, turkey, and sprouts. For sweet I got the Hanna Banana which was peanut butter with bananas and drizzle of honey. Both were really good and filling!

When I still attended UCSB and my mom would come to visit, this was the breakfast place we ALWAYS had to have! We would get a breakfast bagel sandwich and a Sex on a Bagel both to split. The Sex in a Bagel is a MUST! For those of you who do not know what that is, it's a cinnamon glaze bagel.

I have had the PB & J bagel and the Eggel breakfast bagel sandwich. But, today I decided to enjoy the Chicken salad bagel sandwich. It was very good. I wasn't expecting the cranberries in the chicken salad mixture, but I enjoyed it as it added a simple sweetness to it all. For all of your sandwiches you can order it from a variety of different fresh bagels!

Watch out because the line is always VERY long and there is not a lot of sitting. If you bring a blanket then you can enjoy your meal on the park that is right next to the place. Also if you're driving beware that there is only street parking in a college town, so finding a close space is rare.

Really bummed because I really like this place and I've been craving it for a super long time...

it's totally not on my health issue based eating plan at all, yet on a too long gone craving, I stopped and spent a decent amount of money on two different items, and both of them were made wrong.

The girls were nice and everything, but I asked pretty clearly for what I wanted was really friendly and chatty and if that distract people my bad.
They should be able to handle it.
I didn't get sprouts on my sandwich and had asked for a list for the cheese to be left off and that was enough to throw off the entire order. I had to walk back in after getting in and starting my car...
I had asked that my other bagel to not be toasted so I could make it myself and mb soft...and they totally made it and handed it to me as a toasted bagel witu two inches thick of cream cheese I now can't save to use as I wished!!! Grrrrrr.... I already had to go back in and asked for the Sprouts and felt like a dick so this is part of why I almost don't want to be Yelp elite because I'm tired of ripping places a new one for doing their so-called best, but realistically it's like not even coming close there's almost nowhere that I go that I ever get my food correct in over 20 years .
And I'm super clear about what I want.
    So what's the problemo?
Thanks for wasting my really hard earned money. Both of my cold and I don't even want them because I've spent so long posting the stupid review.
    How hard is it folks?!?

Wanted to grab a quick breakfast before heading out of Santa Barbara and our friend recommended we stop at Bagel Cafe. Not many places were open at 11am on Sunday morning so there was a bit of a line, but once we ordered the bagels were prepared super fast - less than 5 minutes.

We were lucky and were able to grab one of the picnic tables out front. I got the Cape Cod bagel sandwich (tuna salad, lettuce, tomato, mayo & mustard), which was really good, though I wish the bagel itself was slightly less toasted. Overall, for the price point, wide variety of menu items, and bagel quality, I'd definitely return.

LOOOOVE bagel cafe. During the school year the line is so long, but it's always always worth the wait. Whenever someone comes to visit I have to take them here for breakfast. Everything on the menu looks and sounds so good that I always agonize over what to choose. In the end, I always go with my classic super deluxe melt. This place is great for any meal though, not just breakfast. They have a great coffee menu, and beer on tap as well. Seating is limited to a small outdoor patio, but it's located right next to 2 parks in Isla Vista. You're even a 5min walk from the beach if you want to enjoy your food with an ocean view. This place is a must try!!
